Classical Art
Classical Art, better said Classicism was born in Greece around 450 BC. , was developed in the Hellenic era and resumed in the Renaissance. Artists tend to perfection by searching through order, harmony and proportions to reach an ideal of unchanged beauty. The works in appearance are realist, but in reality they are the result of abstractions, just look for example the idealized works of Raffaello Sanzio. Other artists who took as a model the Greek works were Michelangelo Buonarroti, Masaccio and Correggio.
